Refunds

How refunds and cancellations work for the products in the catalogue and House Membership. This page restates what the Terms of use and the product pages already say; where the two differ, the Terms of use govern.

1. Tools and documents

A tool or document you have not yet opened can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase. Write to the House with the order reference.

Once a tool has been run or a document has been opened or downloaded, the product has been delivered and the fee is not refundable.

2. The Entry Diagnostic and the Counterparty Brief

Researched deliverables can be cancelled for a full refund until the intake is submitted; after that, work has begun and the fee is earned.

3. House Membership

House Membership is paid once a year and never renews by itself. The House reminds you 30 and 7 days before each renewal, so nothing is ever a surprise.

Cancel anytime from your account. Your access runs to the end of the year you paid for.

4. Defective products

Where a product is defective, for example a file that will not open or a tool that does not calculate, the House repairs or replaces it, and refunds if it cannot.
