Member agreement
House Match introduces companies to other companies. Any company, any country, any sector: you list what you offer and what you need, and the platform proposes verified companies that fit. Both sides must accept before either learns who the other is. This agreement sets out what membership involves.
1. Joining and verification
A company joins by listing its offers and its needs and naming a contact. Before a profile is shown to anyone it is verified: registration, a working website or registry record, a contact at a company domain, and a description that a reader can act on. Verification is automated in the first instance; profiles the system cannot decide are held and read by a partner.
The House may decline or remove a profile that does not verify, that is not a company, or that is listed to gather intelligence rather than to find a partner. You must keep your profile accurate and update it when what you offer or need changes.
2. How introductions work
The platform scores your needs against other members' offers and the reverse. Where the score clears the threshold, each side sees an anonymised card: sector, country, size, what is offered, what is needed. Neither side sees a name, a website or a contact until both have accepted. A pass is final for that pairing and is not disclosed to the other side.
When both sides accept, both contacts are named to each other, an email is sent, and a thread opens. A mutual non-disclosure agreement is offered in the thread; using it is optional and is a matter between the two members.
3. Conduct
Members deal with each other as principals and in good faith. You may not use an introduction to solicit a member's staff, to reverse-engineer its business, or to approach its customers. You may not misrepresent your capacity, your ownership or your authority to sign. Unsolicited marketing to members is not permitted; introductions are for the purpose stated in the two profiles.
The House may suspend or remove a member on reasonable notice for a breach of this clause. Where the breach is serious, removal is immediate.
4. Confidentiality
What you learn about another member through House Match, before or after an introduction, is confidential to that pairing. Anonymised cards are not to be reproduced outside your organisation. The House keeps introduction records for the operation of the platform and does not disclose them to third parties except as the law requires.
5. Fees
House Match is free for every company. House Members receive the additional services described on the House Membership page. A founding member is any company verified on the platform before that date.
No success fee is charged on an introduction. Members may transact with each other on any terms they agree; the House is not a party to that transaction and takes no commission on it.
6. Deal Support
Either side of an introduction may ask the House to take the introduction to signature. Deal Support is a separate engagement under its own letter, with a scope and a fee agreed in writing before work begins. One side pays. The paying side is disclosed to the other side in writing before the House acts, so that both know whose instruction the House is on. The House does not act for both sides of the same deal.
7. What the House does not promise
The House does not warrant that any introduction leads to a transaction, that a member is creditworthy, or that a member's statements are true beyond what verification checks. Members carry out their own diligence before signing anything. The Counterparty Brief in the catalogue exists for this purpose.
8. Data
Company and contact data are processed under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law as described in the Privacy notice. Matching is automated; a member may ask for a partner to review any match decision that affects them.
9. Termination
A member may leave at any time from the account page. The profile is withdrawn immediately, pending introductions lapse, and open threads remain readable to the other side for 90 days and are then closed. The House may end membership as set out in clause 3, or on 30 days' notice if the platform is withdrawn. Subscription fees already paid for a period in which the House ends membership without cause are refunded pro rata.
10. Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes go to the competent courts in Riyadh unless the parties agree in writing to arbitration under the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration.
Written in plain English. Where it conflicts with a signed engagement letter, the letter governs.
